Alicia Brownell is the Founder and Lead Strategist at SEIZE worthy. She’s dedicated to change-driven entrepreneurs and improving community. After helping to promote major music & film projects, including campaigns for Sony & New Line Cinema early in her career, she began seeking give-back initiatives to support. From casting, to public relations, Brownell has kept in step with her diverse creative background. Today she uses that range of experience to encourage people to aim past fear, help her clients make meaningful connections, and offer hopeful creative strategy to organizations and individuals making a difference.
Alicia recently launched Marketing & Momming, a resourceful blog and community. She also contributes to multiple publications & platforms, while championing causes such as Infant Loss Awareness and Autism Awareness. Brownell serves as SVP of Branding & Strategy for Osage Phoenix Productions; an Atlanta-based entertainment production firm on the rise. Alicia lives and works in Houston with her husband and their two greatest gifts – their sons.
Christian Oats is a community servant, a missions advocate and a heartfelt writer. After assisting with operations for a faith-based ministry near Stephen F. Austin University (where she was a student), Christian moved to San Francisco to serve in that city’s Tenderloin district – known for its rampant drug use, poverty and crime. From community outreach to marketing, she used her talents to bolster the efforts of an established non-profit organization which made an impact for the better. After returning to Houston, Oats briefly served as Project Manager for a missions driven non-profit before joining the staff of her own local church as Office Administrator. She sometimes blogs, always reads, and can usually be found at either a farmer’s market or the movies when not at work. Christian is proud aunt to five nephews and one niece.
